Manchester Pride

Manchester Pride Festival is an incredible four-day celebration for LGBTQ+ life that takes place across the city every year over the August Bank Holiday weekend. 

One of the world's leading celebrations of LGBTQ+ life, Manchester Pride Festival comprises six key strands: arts and culture, community, activism, youth and family, equality and of course – partying!

MCR Pride Live was a brand new addition to Manchester Pride Festival in 2019 and was held just a short walk from the Gay Village Party. Thousands of people partied their way through the weekend at the two-day live music extravaganza. This year it returns to a brand new venue, with details coming soon. 

The roots of Manchester Pride and the festival are firmly in the heart of Manchester's world-famous Gay Village. Taking place over all four days of the August Bank Holiday weekend, the Gay Village Party is the ultimate street party celebration. The Gay Village Party tickets are subsidised by Manchester Pride – the cost helps deliver a safe, community Pride celebration.

Other events taking place during the festival include The Manchester Pride Parade, Youth Pride MCR, Family Pride MCR, The Candlelit Vigil and Superbia Weekend.
