Guitar remains at the centre of Mansur Brown’s music, but it’s by no means the only component. Straddling the roles of songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, this spirit of self-sufficiency cuts through everything Mansur does.

A classically trained guitarist – bucking trends and freely making music that isn’t confined by genre - there are echoes of r&b, and sci-fi-esque synthesisers that beam vivid imagery into his mostly instrumental tracks, alongside a heavy rock and electronic undercurrent, whilst maintaining the melodic essence you’d expect from Mansur.
