Combining the name of sex symbol Marilyn Monroe with serial killer Charles Manson, Marilyn Manson (aka Brian Hugh Warner) is the lead singer and only constant member of the industrial metal band he formed in 1989.
They have scored UK Top 20 hits singles "The Beautiful People", "The Dope Show", "Disposable Teens", "Mobscene", and "Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)", alongside unique cover versions of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love", Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" and Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" among other hits.
