Immerse yourself in an 80s dream with this captivating live performance from Manchester-based Shropshire queer synth-pop artist Minute Taker (a.k.a. Ben McCarthy).
Inspired by 80s artists such as Kate Bush, Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will perform songs from his recent nostalgic synth-pop album Wolf Hours, along with a selection of inventive cover versions from the era.
Known for his distinctive, ethereal vocals and emotive lyrics, Minute Taker has released three critically acclaimed albums, has provided official remixes for Yazoo & Erasure, and has recently received airplay on BBC Radio 2 with his song After the Rain (featuring Bright Light Bright Light).
