Morganway + Izzie Walsh
Drawing comparisons to Fleetwood Mac with their striking six-part harmonies, energetic rhythms, catchy songs and a fiercely formidable live act – Morganway have made quite the impression on the UK’s rising Americana scene. Part country, part rock, with sprinklings of folk and something else entirely, it’s not easy categorising the band’s “delightfully unconventional sound” (Desperately Lost City) which has seen them nominated for a British Country Music Award Nomination for UK Band of the Year.
Manchester based singer songwriter Izzie Walsh has a unique sound that blends country, bluegrass, folk and Americana. Described as “So original and individual” by Bob Harris, Izzie Walsh has built an impressive organic fanbase over the last couple of years. Not only does she have two BCMA Awards and an Indie Week UK award under her belt, but Izzie is also a former BBC Introducing Artist of the Week and has even performed on ITV’s Cold Feet.
