Trumpeter Nick Walters is arguably one of the most underrated musicians in the UK jazz scene. His thirteen piece Paradox Ensemble, is a talent-packed crew of like-minded players from Bristol and Manchester, while his Quintet has just recorded a commendable and meticulous collection of “cosmic, electronic-jazz experiments” inspired by NASA and gravitational singularity with each track featuring an audio sample recorded and made available by NASA.
