NOMAD are a prize-winning, shape-shifting Manchester-based ensemble, crafting music that moves your heart, moves your feet and moves you around the world.
Though co-founded in 2021 by three classically trained musicians – Ailsa Burns, Iona Kaye and Elena Orsi – NOMAD aren’t afraid to embrace and explore many different genres of music, all in service of their ambitious pledge to create experimental and intimate multi-media performances for their audiences to enjoy.
Storytelling is at the heart of what they do, and they create immersive and intimate experiences which make you feel part of the performance.
Expect lively nordic folk, the vibrant and delicate sound-world of Caroline Shaw and a concert version of their latest show, The Gardener's Daughter.
