Initially inspired by the music of Billy Joel, Elbow and Joni Mitchell, the music of RNCM-trained Manchester-based pianist and singer-songwriter Ollie West has explored jazz, folk, world, pop, rock, prog and classical music to create a unique sound like nothing you’ve ever heard before.
10 years of writing and performing has seen him work with multiple carnations of his band that have included everything from solo gigs, a 4 piece rock n roll band right up to 24 musicians on stage at one time, even recording with spoken word artists and a 52 piece choir.
