Try our Day Rover Tickets, an amazing steam train day out including 12 miles of stunning scenery and 7 unique stops packed with things to do. Including not just the steam train ride, but also our historic waiting rooms, picture perfect platforms and of course a gift shop. A perfect family day out!
Pick the date you want to set off on your adventure. Your ticket allows you to make one full line round trip, and you can start your journey on any timetabled service that day.
You are welcome to use any public timetabled service from any station. Please check our Timetable for your chosen boarding point (times displayed on this page indicate the first departure from Bury).
Please note that on the Green Timetable dates below, trains will NOT call at Heywood:

Advance discount fares are available for tickets purchased before midnight on the day prior to travel.

Essential Carer tickets for those with access needs are available via the booking line on 0333 320 2830, or at the station booking office.
Children under sixteen years of age are only permitted to enter the company?s trains, stations or other premises when accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 years old. Tickets for Children aged 3-15 years can only be purchased with an Adult ticket.
Please make sure you have a version of your ticket (printed OR on your handheld device) ready for inspection.
