Pentagram
According to Kerrang, "when it comes to enormo-doom heaviness, few do it better" than the highly influential Virginian heavy hard rock act, fronted by the mysterious Bobby Liebling, while Metal Hammer add "they take the offensive with a modern sound and a great dose of Punk attitude."
Often compared to Black Sabbath, they formed in the early 1970's, though their debut album - 'Relentless' - didn't see a release until 1985, introducing the world to the true spirit of Pentagram; catchy hooks and metal anthems.
Through five decades of adversity and triumph, Pentagram has become a legendary international act and has firmly stamped their name in the heavy metal history books.
