Pleasure Rebellion (A Theatrical Extravaganza)

A theatrical cabaret inspired by Dionysus, filled with art, music, dancing, storytelling and ritual madness.

Celebrating queer joy in all its finery, we will be exploring what joy means to us and the importance of queer joy in the mythology of Manchester and its queer community.

Bring your inner god, goddess and godthem and revel in this celebration of authenticity and self-expression.

The show will be creatively captioned working towards creating an accessible cabaret experience.

The cabaret will be co-directed and curated by So La Flair & Night People in collaboration with and styled by Beg, Steal & Borrow MCR

So La Flair Theatre is a powerhouse of interdisciplinary creatives in MCR. We create
& perform live theatre, cabaret and other various spectaculars for our artistic and queer
community.

Night People are a Manchester based cross-art collaboration company fusing worlds of
dance theatre and audio-visual performance. The company brings power, physicality & bass heavy energy to the dance floor.

Beg, Steal & Borrow are an eccentric fashion-forward thrift shop in MCR marrying conscious carbon footprint ideologies, creative expression, social cohesion and environmental
