This performance will tell the unique story of the Hong Kong people who have immigrated to other countries in recent years, allowing the audience to rekindle the creative spirit of Cantonese culture in this important era, appreciate its unique meaning, and move on.
Since the 1980s, Calvin Poon (Poonsan) has been involved in Cantonese lyrics composition and Hong Kong film production as a screenwriter and director. Decades of intriguing experiences, combined with social issues and human emotions, leads him to this creative concept for this Second Creation Lyrics music performance. Poonsan has invited a casts of musical talents to perform all the songs – the aim is to bring fresh and novel energy from the mixing process.
