Nigerian singer, rapper and Afrorave prodigy Rema was introduced to the world in 2019 when he was featured on Barack Obama’s Summer Playlist, defining a new era for African pop.
Blending Afrobeats with Arabian and Indian influences, his distinct sound has resonated with fans, earning him a dedicated fanbase known as Ravers.
As well as his UK Top 40 hit, "Calm Down", the avid Manchester United fan has earned multiple No. 1 singles and in April 2023, his Rave & Roses Ultra album became the first from an African artist to clock over two billion streams on Spotify.
