Residents Freedom Ticket
Our new Residents Freedom Ticket gives Resident Permit holders all day travel on any train on our standard (non-event) days.
Customers purchasing these tickets need to hold a valid Resident Permit and your card must be shown on the day of travel.
Resident Permit holders can purchase one Adult Resident Freedom Ticket and up to 2 Child and/or Young Person Resident Freedom Tickets per transaction/permit. Tickets for additional permit holders in the party must be purchased via a separate transaction.
Additional tickets for those not holding permits can be purchased via the 'Continue Shopping' button at the basket stage, and selecting tickets from All Day Rover or One Return Trip of the Full Line (to suit your travel plans) for the same date.
You are welcome to use any public timetabled service from any station. Please check our Timetable for your chosen boarding point (times displayed on this page indicate the first departure from Bury).
Trains will NOT call at Heywood on Green Timetable days.
Trains on Sundays in February and March on Purple Timetable days will be Diesel hauled only.
