New York Hardcore and Emo supergroup Rival Schools was formed by Walter Schreifels, frontman of Quicksand, with members of '80s and '90s hardcore bands including Gorilla Biscuits (Schreifels), CIV (Sam Siegler), Youth of Today (Schreifels and Siegler) and Iceburn (Cache Tolman).
