RNCM Day of Percussion: Ash Soan

Drummer Ash Soan’s experience is exciting and varied. After studying music at Salford University, his first band Del Amitri supported The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Oasis, and Bryan Adams, He has performed, toured, and recorded with the likes of Cher, Robbie Williams, Billy Idol, Adele, and Robbie Williams. In 2012, he performed at the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony with Mike Oldfield, and he has been the house drummer on the BBC TV show The Voice. Ash has also played on numerous film soundtracks including Terminator Genisys and Kung Fu Panda 3.
