RNCM Day of Percussion: Jim Kilpatrick MBE

Jim Kilpatrick MBE is the world’s foremost exponent of the pipe band snare drum. He is a sixteen-time winner of the World Solo Drum Championships and has held the Champion of Champions title at the event three times. Jim has established a reputation that truly is second to none and shares his expertise at the annual RNCM Day of Percussion, which returns in 2023 for its 30^th year.

Internationally recognised performers and practitioners will present a day packed full of exciting and informative sessions to inspire both newer learners and more experienced players. From orchestral percussion to session drum kits and everything in between, all percussion techniques and instruments are covered.

He will be joined by Rachel Thom, whom in 2018 became the 18 and Under World Solo Drumming Champion.
