Run Logan Run
At the forefront of Bristol’s contribution to the pulsing new UK jazz scene come Run Logan Run, an alchemical fusion of surging, polyrhythmic alt-breakbeats and screaming guttural saxophone whoe have earned a reputation for explosive live performances, full of raw power and visceral energy.
Teaming up with vocalist Annie Gardiner (daughter of Iggy Pop and David Bowie guitarist, the late Ricky Gardiner) and a 9-piece ensemble including string and brass sections, they reach out towards propulsive rock and psychedelic soul, while keeping one foot in the radical jazz-not-jazz of Bristol’s ever fertile improv scene.
