Sad Cafe

One of the great classic English rock bands of the 70s and 80s, the Manchester favourites have finally found the perfect voice in Barry James Thomas to replace their late lead singer Paul Young (also of Mike and the Mechanics), who tragically died in 2000.
With original members Vic Emerson and John Stimpson also sadly passing away, they now press on to a new era and line-up, led by long time bassist Des Tong, who joined the group in 1980 after the band's original success, with a show which brings together the greatest hits of the past - like Everyday Hurts (no.3 on the UK charts), My Oh My, Strange Little Girl, Black Rose and I'm in Love Again, along with the big U.S. hits La-Di-Da and Run Home Girl - with the matured and excellent musicianship of the present.
