Small Engines Gala
Ride up and down the East Lancs Railway, hauled by their fleet of smaller steam and heritage diesel engines. These small but perfectly-formed locomotives, some of which are built for stamina rather than speed, are often found shunting around the station at Bury. This is a rare chance to ride behind these charismatic power-houses.
