Snow Patrol
Dundee-formed Northern Irish trio Snow Patrol have carved out a unique place for themselves by constantly delivering melancholic ballads and music of depth that’s painted from a broad palette.
They shot to fame with their third album, Final Straw in 2003, which went 6 times Platinum in the UK and featured the hit singles Run, Spitting Games, and Chocolate while its 2006 follow-up Eyes Open, faired even better, certified 8 x Platinum and spawning even bigger hits in You’re All I Have, "Set the Fire to the Third Bar" (featuring Martha Wainwright) and the worldwide smash Chasing Cars, which was made famous by the TV show Grey’s Anatomy.
The hits have continued with "Signal Fire", "Take Back the City", "Called Out in the Dark" and "Just Say Yes" among the many singles to grace the higher echelons of the UK charts.
