Splean
Legendary Russian rock band Splean (СПЛИН) were formed in St. Petersburgh in 2004 and perform acoustic and folk rock.
In 1998, Splean opened for The Rolling Stones at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium but were cancelled by Russian authorities in 2022 after lead singer Aleksandr Vasilyev dedicated a song to other artists who had fled the country following the invasion of Ukraine, saying to the crowd it was a pleasure to see so many people who “show mercy, compassion, humanity, and who do not accept cruelty, violence and murder.”
