Summer Diesel Gala

Sunny days, breezy balmy evenings and best of all, roaring diesels.

The East Lancashire Railway is pleased to present the Summer Diesel Gala. As well as running engines from our renowned home fleet, a pair of visiting Class 20’s feature, courtesy of LSL. In addition, the Class 28 Co-Bo will be on static display throughout the event.

An intensive ‘all diesel’ passenger service features over the three days so it is the perfect opportunity to soak up some sun and get some corking photos of your all time favourite locomotives, and maybe even stop for some refreshments at the Trackside.

Climb aboard and ride all weekend long behind our fleet of sensational diesel locomotives in all their glory.

Choose a one, two or three day rover ticket and ride as often as you like. Discounted, advance tickets will be available shortly, or you can pick up a ticket on the day.
