Exploring how music can transcend borders, the RNCM welcomes the Sydney Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and Australian-British saxophonist Amy Dickson.

Twice Grammy-nominated Amy Dickson has been acknowledged by BBC Music Magazine as one of the world’s six best classical saxophonists.

Having premiered and worked closely with Matthew Hindson on his Soprano Saxophone Concerto, she’s bringing this innovative piece to Manchester in a programme that also includes Zoltán Kodály's Dances of Galánta and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No 4 in D minor Op 120, widely regarded as one of his most original and inventive works.
