The Alarm
A daring mix of amped-up acoustics, harmonica & vocals, The Alarm are one of Wales’ biggest ever musical exports, selling over six million albums worldwide and scoring over 15 Top 50 UK Hit singles in the 40 years since their arrival, including 80's Top 20 hits "Sixty Eight Guns" and "Rain In The Summertime."
Lead singer Mike Peters is respected as a songwriter the world over, and has shared the stage with U2, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Neil Young. After he was diagnosed with cancer, the band were forced into playing shows dictated by the chemotherapy regime that has kept him alive ever since.
