The Cult

The Cult have revived their early post-punk incarnation, celebrating 40 years since Bradford vocalist Ian Astbury and legendary Mancunian guitarist Billy Duffy formed Death Cult in 1983 as a spin-off from Astbury’s former gothic rock band Southern Death Cult, before settling on their current name a year later.
Revisiting venues the band performed at in 1983, the set list will include material dating from their time as Southern Death Cult, as well as Death Cult's debut EP and single, right through to The Cult's second album "Love", in 1985 with its smash hit "She Sells Sanctuary".
