The Met's Drama Summer School 2026 - The Midnight Kids

Does your child love performing? Are you looking for theatre to make your little one?s summer? Children aged 5-11 are invited to join us for our very own Summer School! One whole week full of fun-filled days of drama where they will have the chance to create their own brand-new piece of performance.This year?s theme is? The Midnight kids! These kids have been sent to a boarding school. The lessons are boring and the headteacher is mean. But at night, they can do what they want! They use their imaginations to go on adventures and do things that they can only dream of doing, while they?re stuck at the school. They play tricks on the headteacher and work out a plan for escape?Come and work on a funny and exciting show. Let your imaginations run wild to create the scenes and then perform the show at the end of the week.You will create your own characters and use costumes. You will learn the skills of acting, devising, puppetry and many more.On top of all that you will have lots of fun playing drama games with lots of new friends.All of this delivered in a safe and friendly space by our very own Madeleine who runs Bury Youth Theatre Juniors and Aiming High!Secure your place through the booking link.
