The Roop
Lithuanian pop rockers THE ROOP finished eighth at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Discoteque".
It was actually their third attempt at the competition after finishing third for Lithuania's 2018 national selection with the song "Yes, I Do". Their winning entry for the 2020 competition, "On Fire", suffered when the contest was cancelled due to COVID, although it did go on to win overall in the replacement show, Eurovision 2020 - Das Deutsche Finale.
