The Story of Ireland

The Story of Ireland is a brand new staged theatre show that is a must see for all those with Irish connections or who love Irish music.

Taking the audience through some timeless Irish ballads and music as we get an insight to some of the history of the Emerald Isle from all those who emigrated for a variety of factors, through to the battles and challenges the Irish have faced over centuries and of course the wonderful music that still brightens up stages across the globe.

Through music, poetry, narration, choreography and song The Story of Ireland unfolds live before your eyes in theatre venues across the UK during 2023. Featuring a talented cast of 7 performers, who act as all of the various characters we meet as well as narrate, sing, dance and play instruments.

The cast includes Morgan Wild (Grace), Tom Loughlin (Padraig), Michelle Victoria Riley (Molly), Julie Proctor (Patricia), Tom Collins (Eamonn), Ryan Ireland (Joseph) and the role of Dara played by some outstanding soprano singers during the tour - Shelley Anne Rivers [Salford/Rhyl/Liverpool], Rebecca Casey [Blackpool], Gabrielle Dams [Penrith], Sinead D’Abreu Hayling [Macclesfield] and Millie Green [Colne].

Written/Produced by MMC Productions, the 2023 Tour will stop at 20 venues across the UK spread across two tours, the first during the Spring and the second beginning in September for the Autumn.
