Nikki Yeoh?s Six as 1 is an impressionistic whirlwind with a range of moods and colours. Originally inspired by his ambition to write for every piano in a store, Steve Reich?s Six Pianos showcases his intriguing approach to musical patterns, textures, and layering. The programme concludes with Graham Fitkin?s Totti, named in honour of AS Roma star Francesco Totti, blending repetition and movement to capture the lightness and agility that is so characteristic of the Italian footballer.
