UNTO OTHERS formed in 2017 in Portland, Oregon under the name IDLE HANDS. The band has two releases on Germany based EISENWALD RECORDS and their self run LONE FIR RECORDS - "Don't Waste Your Time" (EP 2018) and "Mana" (Full Length 2019) - both received critical acclaim and took the band around the world touring for 125+ days in 2019 including 50 shows in Europe over two tours + a 45 day North American tour with the legendary KING DIAMOND. In 2020 the band was slotted to open the DECIBEL MAGAZINE TOUR 2020 w/ MAYHEM, ABBATH and GATECREEPER. They were on the road to the first show when the Corona Virus pandemic hit the USA and were forced to turn around. "Don't Waste Your Time II" was released in July 2020 on Lone Fir Records in the USA and Eisenwald in Europe, an extension of the first DWYT EP. In September 2020 the band announced due to US trademark law they would be changing their name to UNTO OTHERS.
