The O2 Apollo Manchester is a Grade II concert venue in Manchester with a capacity of 3’500 (2514 standing, 986 seats).  It opened in 1938, originally as a cinema and variety hall and began to host music concerts 1960’s.  It is one of Manchester premiere concert venues.

The O2 Apollo, formerly known as The Manchester Apollo, covers all music, including rock, pop, jazz, musical theatre, and comedy acts.  It’s hosted The Beatles, David Bowie, The Jacksons, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John (Freddie Mercury joined him), Tina Turner, Michael Buble, Michael Ball, Peter Kay, and was featured in the film 24 hour party people.

There are two official car parks adjacent to the venue, one on Apsley Grove Road and the other, just off Hyde Road. Both are cash only.

 

The nearest train station is Manchester Piccadilly, just under a mile away.

The nearest tram stop is also Piccadilly.

The O2 Apollo has a capcity of 3500.

For seated events, it is approximately 2693.

If you've lost your ticket, contact your ticket seller and they'll be able to help.

The box office will only open on show days before the event begins, giving you time to collect your tickets.

Your ticket should state the time the doors open but most likely will not state the finish time as these are subject to change.

As a guide, the venues curfew is 11pm.
