Manchester Camerata & RNCM Students

Manchester Camerata perform alongside the Royal Northern College of Music's students as part of RNCM Original Voices Festival, which celebrates new perspectives on music that has filled the concert hall, in some cases, for centuries.

This concert features new work from our Camerata 360° Ruth Sutton Fellow, James Weatherly-Buss.

From staging, to presentation, and new arrangements, the festival is maximising the potential of live performance in the 21st century as they challenge traditions and spark new experiences.

Part of the RNCM’s Future is Green initiative, this year, the festival is specially focussed on thinking about how we can re-examine familiar music through the lens of the climate emergency and natural world.

Manchester Camerata players and RNCM students perform side-by-side in a uniquely curated and immersive experience. Using movement, improvisation, spoken word, and music, expect to be taken on a voyage towards positive change and endless possibilities.
