Formed in 1985, Mike + The Mechanics have evolved over its 40+ years. Originally Mike Rutherford’s “side project” to Genesis, as a band they have released some of the most beloved songs of a generation including ‘The Living Years’, ‘All I Need Is A Miracle’ and ‘Over My Shoulder’ and have always been a formidable and celebrated live band…
Following the death of former Sad Cafe frontman Paul Young and departure of Paul Carrack, the line-up now includes Mike Rutherford (guitar), and one of the UK’s most prolific R&B singers, Andrew Roachford (whose previous hits include Cuddly Toy and Family Man) and Canadian-born singer, Tim Howar (who, with his band Vantramp, toured with the likes of Rod Stewart and Paulo Nutini).
