Described by Kirk Hammett, guitarist of fellow Californian band Metallica, as "unique, they're a square peg in a round hole", since 1984, Primus have followed in the footsteps of boundary-pushing artists like Frank Zappa and Pink Floyd to create some of the most original and inventive music in existence.

Described as "thrash-funk meets Don Knotts, Jr." and "the Freak Brothers set to music", their incomparable funk metal sound is cerebral and complex, teeming with their signature blend of whimsy and underlying darkness.
