Sylvette
Manchester 5 piece art rock band Sylvette will be performing songs from their first 3 albums arranged with a string quartet.
Inspired by an enchanting muse by the name of "Sylvette" frequently pictured in many of Picasso’s famous paintings, their sound comprises of ritualistic prog riffs, glamorous club beats, emo nostalgia and the dissonance and juxtaposition of contemporary classical music mixed with the poetic bathos of their lyrics. Overall, it is bold and new but most importantly, at its heart, emotionally raw and vulnerable, seeking the beauty and romanticism of things dark and unseen.
