Echobelly
Known for their sensationally energetic live shows and no shortage of critical acclaim, Britpop band Echobelly were often compared to Blondie, thanks largely to Delhi-born vocalist Sonya Madan and Swedish guitarist, and former pornographic magazine editor, Glenn Johansson.
Influenced by Morrissey, who himself was a fan of the group, they enjoyed success in the UK between 1994 and 1997, scoring Top 20 hits "Great Things" and "Dark Therapy".
