Hothouse Flowers
Irish folk rock band Hothouse Flowers feel like they are turning new corners and writing new chapters every day. No two shows are ever the same having dispensed with any premeditated programme over two decades ago and set about putting their faith in capturing and expanding the moment… each and every moment!
Their first album, People was the most successful debut album in Irish history, reaching No. 1 in Ireland and No. 2 in the UK in 1988, spawning the hits "Don't Go", "Feet On the Ground", "Easier in the Morning", "Love Don't Work This Way" and "I'm Sorry", while they would also go on to score success with the singles "I Can See Clearly Now", "Give It Up", "An Emotional Time", "The Rose" (with The Dubliners) and "Hardstone City".
