Short Film – Psychopomp
Kit Harington's directorial debut is a dark comedy short, shot in Northern England, starring Harry Melling as a desperate man who’s decided to end his own life with the help of hired assassin Liam. This black comedy follows the unlikely pair’s road trip to what will be Harry’s ultimate resting place. Harry’s final day doesn’t go exactly as planned, but a budding friendship develops and Liam begins to sense that Harry’s making the wrong choice. As Harry weighs his existential crisis, has he left it too late to realise that his past doesn’t have to dictate his future?
Followed by a Q&A with Kit Harington.
Feature Film – The Good Boy
Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough star in Jan Komasa’s dark, gripping thriller, where breaking the rules results in severe consequences. 19-year-old Tommy revels in a life of drugs, parties, and violence. Until one night, he is abducted by an unknown figure. Though he is no stranger to violence, he is horrified when he wakes to find himself chained in the basement of the isolated suburban family home of Chris and his near-spectral wife. The family sets out to reform Tommy's unruly behaviour, forcing him to comply with their relentless mind games or seek escape at any cost.
