Trio Entertainment Ltd present a new production of John Godber’s legendary comedy classic starring Warren Donnelly (Shameless), Steven Arnold (Coronation Street), Darren Jefferies (Hollyoaks, Brassic), and theatre legend Rob Stuart-Hudson.
"Bouncers" is a fast-paced, outrageous, and endlessly entertaining play that takes audiences on a wild ride through the highs, lows, and sheer lunacy of a big night out. With just four actors portraying over twenty unforgettable characters, the play brings to life everything from giggling girls and boisterous lads to drunken slobs, Hooray Henrys, and pogoing punks, all under the ever-watchful eyes of the nightclub’s tough-talking doormen.
Set against the flashing lights and pulsating beats of the club scene, "Bouncers" is a razor-sharp satire that captures the chaos, comedy, and culture of Britain’s nightlife. Originally commissioned and performed by the Yorkshire Actors Company, the play premiered at Rotherham Arts Centre on 25 March 1983 and has since become one of the most performed plays of all time.
