What's On at the Liverpool Empire Theatre, Liverpool

The Liverpool Empire theatre is Britain’s largest two-tiered venue with a seating capacity of 2350. The Empire opened its doors in 1925. A Grade II listed building, it hosts a wide variety of entertainment from concerts, variety shows, musicals, plays, operas and comedy. It even boasts two theatre ghosts!

The Empire Liverpool has seen impressive productions and premier artists including Frank Sinatra, Royal Variety Performances, Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Queen, Morecombe and Wise, Tina Turner and The Beatles who played the venue several times in their early careers.
